The Red River Regional Heritage Fair will be held
on Thursday May 6, 2010 at the Duckworth Centre,
University of Winnipeg.
The heritage fair is for
students in grades four to grade nine and grade eleven.
Students
are able to submit their projects in French or English and will be judged
in the language of their project choice. The Red River Regional
Heritage Fair is a unique way for students to have an amazing day of
discovery with integrated subject areas; social studies, ELA, and ICT.
We hope that you are able to send this on to your
middle years teachers and schools.

The first MMYA journal should have
been mailed to you by December 18th, 2009. Unfortunately, due to
a print error at the Manitoba Teachers' Society, copies for our
membership were only recently printed and mailed. You should have
your first 2009-2010 edition by now. The issue was
investigated and new processes for printing SAG group journals in a
timely manner are in place so this does not happen
again.
MTS appologizes
for their error.
We hope you enjoy what the first journal has to offer.
Keep an eye out for our second edition. It will be mailed
mid-March.
